The American Botanical Council (ABC), Austin, TX, continues to ex­pand with the recent acquisition of the rights to the popular herbal database HerbMed and its enhanced professional version HerbMedPro. The acquisition intends to enhance the maintenance and further development of the databases, which are frequently used as research tools by academic re­searchers, healthcare professionals, institutions, government agencies, consumers and others.
